These bins blew me away. I tested them at home along with the Vanguard Orros 8 x 25 and Eschenbach Arena F+ 8 x 25, kind of expecting to go for the Eschenbach or Vanguard because both fold to a slightly smaller size and are a little less heavy. But the optical quality of the Nature DX 8 x 25 is far better than the other two. Sharper and much more contrast and depth, perhaps because of the phase coating. Its minimum focus distance is also better, it feels like less than 2 meters / 6 ft. I tested all three by picking them up and trying to focus on something as quickly as possible and the Nature DXs were much easier and quicker to adjust. The eyecups hold my eyes at exactly the right distance so there are no black outs when I move the bins, like I had with the other two; the Nature DX bins are much more forgiving. Add to that the superior build quality and I was surprised to find myself returning both the Esschenbachs and Vanguards.
